Getting a Professional Headshot Photography Photoshoot is about as exciting as going to the Dentist. I'm Sergio of Camerawerkz and I'm here to change that. My studio is located in Oakland's Jack London Square and it's where I'll used every part of my personality to make your headshot experience fun, relaxed and enjoyable. We approach each and every session as a personal portrait session, it's not just one shot and your done. It's about capturing who you are authentically, we will guide you through the process ever step of the way because when you feel good in front of the camera you look good and thats when we get the great shots.

The next step, let's Sync Calendars, Pay a Deposit and we'll send you google calendar invite and were all to set to shoot.
Day of the Shoot, we'll check in with you the morning of to confirm and we'll guide you through the entire shoot Process, no worries!
After the shoot within 1 to 2 days you'll receive a proofing gallery of which you can select your images you would like to have edited.

1. How should I prepare for my headshot session?
Wear solid colors that complement your skin tone, avoid busy patterns, and make sure your clothes are clean and wrinkle-free. Get a good night’s sleep, stay hydrated, and consider light grooming (hair, beard trim, or makeup touch-ups).
2. How long does a headshot session take?
It depends on the package. Individual sessions can take 15–30 minutes or even up to 1 hour, while team or event headshot setups can range from a few hours to multiple days.
3. Do you retouch the photos?
Yes—professional retouching is included to remove distractions like blemishes, stray hairs, or glare, while keeping you looking natural.
4. Can I choose my favorite images?
Absolutely. You’ll receive a gallery or proofing sheet to select your favorites, and only those chosen will be fully retouched and delivered.
5. How long until I receive my final headshots?
Turnaround time varies, but most individual headshots are delivered within 2–7 business days. Larger events may take a week or more depending on volume and editing needs.

I'll go ahead and give you the short & sweet here because that's basically me, short at 5 ft 7in and sweet .
I'm Sergio of Camerawerkz, I'm a real person and I'm a people person by nature, that's my superpower and where I get my energy.
Over a decade ago (2011) I made the decision to pursue photography. Looking through the view finder gave me a voice to share how I see the world and the people around me. Photography excites me and made me feel powerful. It also stopped time and brought me into the present moment, nothing else matters when I'm behind the lens and this still holds true today!
It's simple and not so simple, I've learn over time that in order to show people in there best light, I have to bring a certain energy behind the camera so that you can have the right energy in front of the camera.I like to think my work reflects that.
When I'm not shooting professional headshots, I'm thinking about shooting cinematic portraits!
